.TONIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 15 knots veering south after
midnight. Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly cloudy.
A slight chance of light freezing drizzle in the evening. Waves 2 to
3 feet.
.THURSDAY...South winds 5 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy. Waves 1 to
2 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...South winds 10 to 15 knots. A slight chance of

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 30.1 inches over Ontario and the
northern Great Lakes will gradually shift northeast tonight. Low
pressure of 29.5 inches will develop over the Central Plains
tonight and then lift northeast to the Upper Mississippi Valley
Thursday evening. The low will track across the Upper Great Lakes
Thursday night while dragging a strong cold front across the lake.
High pressure of 30.4 inches will spread across the Upper
Mississippi Valley and Great Lakes Region Saturday.

reissued by NWS Milwaukee this morning.

This will be the final Open Waters Forecast for Lake Michigan
issued by NWS Chicago. Updates to this forecast as well as routine
forecasts will be transferred to NWS Milwaukee this morning.
