Livewire Trolling Rods

Blood Run's Copper/Leadcore rods are designed to handle any sized copper, leadcore, weighted steel or monel fishing wire.   The Livewire features oversized guides provide friction free deployment of sometimes large wire terminal connections...which helps prevent backlash on fast deploys.

The Livewire Copper Leadcore fishing rod is a much improved design for trolling offshore, particularly with inline planer boards.   Most available copper and leadcore fishing rods have too small of guides, and often resemble more of a pool cue than a fishing rod.    The old school overweight and super stiff design available today is not necessary with modern day inline planer boards which pull almost effortlessly in most conditions and wire fishing line lengths.  The sensitivity of the Livewire is also a departure from the old school pool cue design.
